Drivers Licence Screening
Our optometrist, Danielle Ross, can tick off the vision requirements on your drivers licence test quick smart! The visual screen test (DL25 Certificate for New Zealand Land Transport) is a simple test that Danielle can complete within a short consultation. If for any reason you do not meet the standards, a comprehensive examination may be required and Danielle is right on hand to talk you through the options to get you on the road.
At Eyes on Ardmore we can certify your vision to meet the requirements for all Maritime NZ certifications. This is an extensive eye examination that requires our optometrist, Danielle Ross, to dilate your pupils with eyes drops. For extra safety you will need a buddy to drive you to the appointment because friends don’t let friends drive dilated. You will need to bring along your spectacles, sunglasses and/or contact lenses for testing purposes and once you have passed we will send your Maritime Eyesight Certificate directly to Maritime NZ.
Our optometrist, Danielle Ross, is a designated examiner for Maritime NZ for the following classes:
Inshore Launchmaster (ILM) | Local Launch Operator (LLO) | Certified Deckhand (CDH) | Advanced Deckhand (ADH) | Advanced Deckhand – Fishing (ADH-F).
